HEIC to PDF Converter

FreeNo uploadNo sign-up

You photographed a document, a receipt or a form with your iPhone, and now you need it as a PDF. The photos are HEIC files, which many websites and Windows PCs do not accept. This tool turns one or many HEIC photos into a single PDF, with each photo on its own page. It runs in your browser, so ID cards, contracts and bank papers never leave your device.

HEIC keeps iPhone photos small, but it is a camera format, not a document format. When a bank, an office or a school asks for a scan, they almost always mean a PDF. Converting the photos to PDF gives you one file that opens everywhere and keeps every page in the right order.

Each photo is decoded on your device. Safari reads HEIC itself; in Chrome, Edge and Firefox a small decoder is loaded the first time you add a HEIC file. The photo is then placed on a page as a high-quality JPG.

Tips for documents photographed with a phone

Lay the document on a dark, flat surface, photograph it from straight above in good light, and avoid the flash, which leaves a bright spot. Choose A4 or US Letter so the PDF prints at a normal size, or Same as image to keep the photo’s own shape.

If the PDF turns out too big to email, run it through Compress PDF. For single photos as images instead of a PDF, use HEIC to JPG.

    Frequently asked questions

    Are my photos uploaded?

No. The photos are decoded and the PDF is built inside your browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I put several HEIC photos in one PDF?

Yes. Add as many as you like, arrange them with the arrows, and each photo becomes one page of the same PDF.

Does it work on an iPhone?

Yes. Open this page in Safari, tap Choose files, pick the photos from your library, and download the PDF to the Files app.

Why is the first HEIC file slower?

Outside Safari, the browser needs a HEIC decoder, which is downloaded once (about 1 MB) when you add the first photo. After that every photo converts quickly.

Can I mix HEIC, JPG and PNG?

Yes. JPG and PNG images can be added to the same PDF, and they are placed on the pages unchanged.
