Add your images with Choose files, drag them into the box, or paste a screenshot.

    2. Camp 1

    3. Summit

Download each resized image, or use Download all for a ZIP file.

    Which resize option to use

    Use it toExample
PercentageShrink everything by the same amount50% for a quick, smaller copy
WidthFit a column, a website or a profile picture1200 px for a blog image
HeightMake a row of images the same height1080 px for a slide

JPG and WebP files stay JPG and WebP, saved at high quality; PNG, GIF, BMP and AVIF images are saved as PNG so no detail is lost. Transparent areas in PNG and WebP images stay transparent.

Making an image smaller always looks good. Making it larger is possible, but it cannot add detail that is not there, so enlarged images look softer.

    Common sizes

For email and messaging, 1600 px on the long side is plenty. Many websites recommend 1200 to 2000 px wide images, and profile pictures are usually 400 to 800 px. A phone photo is often 4000 px wide or more, so resizing to 25–50% makes it many times smaller.

    Frequently asked questions

    Are my images uploaded?

No. The images are resized by your browser on your own device and never sent anywhere.

    Is the aspect ratio kept?

Yes. You set one value, and the other side is calculated so the picture is never stretched or squashed.

    Which formats can I resize?

JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and BMP. JPG and WebP keep their format, the others are saved as PNG. Animated GIFs become a still image of the first frame.

Can I resize many images at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like; all of them get the same setting, and Download all packs them into a ZIP file.

Is the photo’s date and location kept?

No. The resized image contains only the picture, without EXIF details such as the camera, date or GPS location.
